The pearls - Potsdam Research Network is a foundation under civil law founded in 2011 and based in Potsdam . It links the University of Potsdam and 21 non-university research institutions at the science location Potsdam / Berlin.

Goal of the network

The Potsdam Research Network was founded in 2011 on the initiative of the University of Potsdam as a foundation under civil law with the aim of promoting science, research, teaching and education in Potsdam. The foundation unites the University of Potsdam and research institutions of the Leibniz Association , the Helmholtz Association , the Fraunhofer Society , the Max Planck Society as well as the Hasso Plattner Institute for Software Systems Technology and the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies in an interdisciplinary network.

The Potsdam Research Network acts as a central coordination point and networking platform for the network partners in the areas of joint research cooperation, career development and research marketing for Potsdam as a science location. The Academic College, in which representatives from all network institutions are represented, supports the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board as advisors.
