Pegu-Joma ( Pegu-Roma , Pegu Yoman ) is a mountain range in Myanmar (Burma).
It separates the river valleys of the Sittaung and the Irrawaddy and extends from Jemethin in Upper Burma to almost the Gulf of Martaban . On its western side it continues to the Irrawaddy Delta . The Shwedagon Pagoda in Rangoon rises on a last hilly spur in the southwest .
In its extreme north is the 1518 m high, extinct volcano Mount Popa , the highest point in the mountain range.
