history

The original band "Pele Caster" was formed in 2010 from the solo project of the same name by Stefan "Pele" Götzer (previously singer and guitarist with Astra Kid and bassist with Klee ), during the recording of the first album "Wasimmer" (2011; Timezone Records ). Other members were Daniel Klingen (drums), Thomas Hannes (guitar) and Ben Schadow (bass). In the years that followed, the line-up changed several times, until 2015 the regular line-up, consisting of Steffen Haas (vocals / perc.), Amelie Struck (piano / vocals), Michael Kaschmer (bass), Marc Rühmeier (drums) and Pele Götzer (vocals / guitar) formed. In addition, musician friends who are friends play both live and in the studio.

In 2017 the album "Theater des Absurden " was released, which was nominated for the popNRW-Prize 2017 in the category "outstanding". This was followed by an extensive club tour and concerts at festivals (including Juicy Beats and Ruhrfestspiele ).
