Peltigera polydactyla is a leaf-shaped lichen (leaf lichen ).
description
The thallus is extensive, the lobes leaf-shaped, often frizzy at the edges, about 4 cm wide. The top is shiny and hairless. There are broad, converging veins on the underside. The apothecia are brown-red in color. Their shape is saddle-shaped on narrow, upright lobes.
Location
This leaf lichen is widespread on earth, rocks and tree stumps.
