The Pepper peak is 940 m high and pointed mountain in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . In the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains it rises 3 km north of Mount Nervo in the Schmidt Hills .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Clifford G. Pepper (1923–1981), Hospital Corpsman on the Ellsworth- Station in the Antarctic winter of 1958.
