Per Braxenholm (born October 31, 1983 in Karlskrona ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Scorpions de Mulhouse in the French Ligue Magnus since August 2012 .

Career

Per Braxenholm began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Karlskrona IK , for whose first team he made his debut in the lower division 2 in the 1999/2000 season. The defender then played for the professional team of Mörrum GoIS in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan for four years before starting the 2005/06 season with their league rivals Halmstad Hammers . Until 2008 he was on the ice for Nybro Vikings IF . The Swede then played for ASG Angers in the French Ligue Magnus for three years during his first engagement abroad .

For the 2011/12 season Braxenholm moved to AS Pergine in the Italian A2 series . The following season the Swede was signed by the French Ligue Magnus promoted Scorpions de Mulhouse .
