Per Conrad Boman
Per Conrad Boman (born June 6, 1804 in Stockholm ; † March 17, 1861 ibid) was a Swedish composer .
Life
Boman, a student of Pehr Frigel , lived as a music critic and writer in Stockholm and for some time was music advisor at Post-och Inrikes Tidningar . He also wrote articles for the Ny Tidning newspaper for music .
He composed the two operettas Byn i bergen (1846) and Ljungby horn och pipa (1858), a Singspiel , the cantata Gustaf Vasas dröm and other songs . Together with Jacob Niclas Ahlström , he edited the folk song collection Svenska folksanger, folkdanser och folklekar .
