Per Ledin (born September 14, 1978 in Luleå ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who was last under contract with Lausanne HC in the Swiss National League A.
Career
Per Ledin began his career as a hockey player at Vännäs HC , for which he made his debut in the then third-rate Division 2 in the 1995/96 season . The attacker then moved to the second division IF Björklöven , with whom he rose to the elite series in 1998 and 2000 . Despite the renewed promotion, he left his team after the 1999/2000 season and signed with the Baton Rouge Kingfish in the East Coast Hockey League , for which he scored four goals in 26 games and gave eight assists before he was in the course of the season 2000/01 returned to Sweden, where he received a contract with the first division club Luleå HF , where he had a regular place in each of the following five seasons.
In the summer of 2005 Ledin signed with Färjestad BK , with whom he was the first Swedish champion in the 2005/06 season . The left-handed shooter was able to repeat this success in 2008 with the HV71 . For the 2008/09 season, the national player was committed by the Colorado Avalanche , for which he was on the ice in three games in the National Hockey League . However, most of the season he spent with their farm team from the American Hockey League , the Lake Erie Monsters , so that he returned to his former club HV71 for the 2009/10 season. In the HV71 he was one of the players with the most penalty minutes in the following four seasons and was the most punished player in the Elitserien with 129 penalty minutes in the 2012/13 season. In May 2013 he returned to Luleå HF. In his second season he won the Champions Hockey League with the club . After staying for two years, Ledin went abroad again and played at EC Red Bull Salzburg in Austria in the 2015/16 season . He won the championship title in the Austrian ice hockey league with the bulls .
In August 2016 he moved to the Lausanne Hockey Club in the Swiss National League A (NLA).
International
For Sweden Ledin took part in the 2008 World Cup, where he finished fourth with his team. He was also world champion in 2007 with the Swedish national inline hockey team.
