Percy Charles Austin (born July 1, 1903 in Watford , † August 15, 1961 in St Albans ) was an English football player .

Career

Austin played for the club Farnham United Breweries , which won the Surrey Senior League in 1924 and 1925 and was defeated in the 1925/26 season in the first main round of the FA Cup against Swindon Town 1:10. In January 1926, the center forward came to London club Tottenham Hotspur . His debut for the professional team in November 1927 in a game in favor of the London Professional Football Charity Fund was followed by his only game in the Football League First Division on December 31, 1927 . In a 2: 3 away defeat against Birmingham City , he made his debut with Jimmy Armstrong , when the Spurs had to compensate for numerous injury-related failures. In May 1928 his affiliation with the Spurs ended, nothing is known about his further career.
