Perilaos ( Greek  Περίλαος ) is a person of Greek mythology .

Perilaos is in the library of Apollodorus a son of Ikarios and Periboia , the brother of Penelope , the later wife of Odysseus , as well as Thoas , Imeusimos , Aletes and Damasippus . After a Scholion to Homer's Odyssey , he is the son of Ikarios and Asterodeia , his siblings here are Amasichos , Phalereus , Thoon , Pheremmelias , Mede and Penelope.

Pausanias tells of a Peloponnesian myth, according to which he appears as the accuser against Orestes before the Areopagus . Orestes killed his mother Clytaimnestra and is then tortured by the Erinyes before he is judged. Tyndareus usually appears as the accuser of Orestes, but in this variant of the myth he has already died. As a cousin of Klytaimnestra, Perilaos receives the right to prosecute.
