Perry River ( Inuktitut Kuugjuaq ) is a river in the Kitikmeot Region of the Nunavut Territory, Canada .

It has its origin in MacAlpine Lake . It drains this on its east bank in a northerly direction. Eventually it flows into Chester Bay on the south coast of the Queen Maud Gulf .

There used to be a trading post of the Hudson's Bay Company on the Perry River for some time .
