history

Perstorps SK was founded in 1925. Initially active in the lower league area, the team made it through from the fourth division to the second highest division at the end of the 1950s. In the second division season in 1960, however, she had no chance and rose together with Höganäs BK and IK Sleipner as the bottom of the table in their second division season again. In the following years, the club placed in the middle of the table in the third division, before he relegated Högadals IS in Division 3 Sydöstra Götaland to second place in 1969 and returned to the second division. This time the team stayed in the league and reached the runner-up in their season in 1971, although Halmstads BK had six points ahead of the season. The success could not be confirmed, with only four wins of the season, the club rose together with IFK Ystad , Skogens IF and Kungshamns IF from the second-highest league, which has since been reduced from four to two seasons.

In the first two seasons after relegation to the second division at the end of 1972, Perstorps SK played for promotion and took second place in the table behind Karlskrona AIF and IFK Hässleholm . Then the club slipped within the game level and regularly occupied places in the middle of the table until he was relegated to fourth division in 1981. There he was five years later the victim of a league reform, as a result of which he was downgraded to the sixth division. With that, the team said goodbye to higher-class football.
