Pete Tancred
Pete Tancred (actually Peter Arthur Tancred; born October 20, 1949 in Quetta , Pakistan ) is a former British discus thrower .
At the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1969 and at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he was eliminated in qualification.
At the Commonwealth Games he finished sixth for England , starting in Edmonton in 1978 and Brisbane in 1982 .
In 1977 and 1978 he was English champion, in 1977, 1980 and 1983 British champion.
