Peter Bergmair (born March 31, 1955 in Friedberg ) is a Bavarian local politician.

From May 1, 2002 to April 30, 2014, he was the 1st mayor of the city of Friedberg in the Bavarian-Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg . Since May 2014 he has headed the cross-sectional tasks in the OB department of the city ​​of Augsburg .

Study and job

After graduating from high school at Sankt Stephan in Augsburg , Peter Bergmair studied law , American cultural history, political science and English literature at the University of Munich .
