Peter Crampton (athlete)

Peter Crampton (born June 4, 1969 in Grimsby ) is a former British hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance and was also used in the 4-by-400-meter relay because of his sprinting strength .

In 1994 he was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki . At the Commonwealth Games in Victoria he was seventh and won the English 4 x 400 meter relay.

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he was eliminated from the preliminary stages.

In 1994 he became English champion.
