Peter Dollond
Peter Dollond (born February 24, 1730 in London , England , † July 2, 1820 in Kensington , England) was an English optician .
biography
Peter Dollond worked together with his father John Dollond , who also worked as an optician and astronomer , on improving telescopes . He headed the Optical Institute together with his younger brother John († November 6, 1804).
Peter Dollond wrote a. a. the then important publication Account of the discovery of refracting telesopes (London, 1789).
