Peter Ehret

Peter Ehret (born December 24, 1954 - June 21, 1981 ) was a German voice actor .

Life

Ehret was born at Christmas 1954 and worked as a voice actor in film and television from the 1970s. He dubbed Eric Dô Hien in My Friend Winnetou , Graham Faulkner in Brother Sun, Sister Moon and Antonio "Tonio" Rossi in the TV series Marco .

His voice became known when he lent it to the wild goose Gunnar in Nils Holgersson in 1980 . He is also known as the narrator in the cartoon series Tom and Jerry or as the German voice of Robin Williams in Mork vom Ork in the first dubbed version on ZDF .

Peter Ehret married the actress Birgit Zamulo twice . Both played together among other things in Weh him who lies! by Franz Grillparzer as Leon and Edrita and in Tom Sawyer as Tom and Ben .

Ehret died of suicide on June 21, 1981, at the age of only 26 . He was buried in the Munich Ostfriedhof .
