Peter Frampton (* 1950 in London , England ) is a British makeup artist and Oscar winner .

life and career

Frampton's greatest success as a makeup artist was the film Braveheart , for which he was nominated for his fourth BAFTA Award and won his first Oscar with Paul Pattison and Lois Burwell . After retiring from the film business, Frampton taught full time at the Frampton Institute for Cinemagraphic Make-up in Australia . Through an encounter on an airplane , where Frampton always speaks to potential students, he helped Australian Joanna Blair to get into the film business . Framptom's father Harry Frampton also worked as a makeup artist.
