Peter Freiburghaus
Peter Freiburghaus (born February 17, 1947 in Neuenegg ) is a Swiss actor , director and author .
Life
After Freiburghaus graduated from high school in Lausanne , he trained as an actor at the Bern University of Music and Theater from 1969 to 1972 . He then worked from 1972 to 1976 at various theaters in Germany and Switzerland in Bern, Berlin and New York as an actor, director and author.
Freiburghaus was one of the founders of the Bildertheater Berlin and the Zampanoo's Variété in Bern. He directed the latter from 1976 to 1986, where he worked as a writer, director and actor.
In 1991 he founded the Fischbach Duo with his partner Antonia Limacher . Their portrayal as a caretaker couple from the provinces had great success. Her first program “Fischbach's Christmas” was followed by “Fischbach's Wedding” in 1992, “Fischbach's Children” in 1996 (until 2001) and in 1998 “Fischbach's in the knee”.
In 2017 he finished his work in Duo Fischbach because he was suffering from cancer.
