Peter Hölz

Peter Karl Hölz (* 1937 ) was senior city director for the cities of Solingen and Düsseldorf .

Peter Hölz ​​studied law and graduated with a doctorate. From 1966 to 1977 he was first alderman and city treasurer of the city of Mettmann . In 1977 he moved to the independent city of Solingen , where he was also treasurer until 1981. From 1981 on, Hölz ​​was senior city director in Solingen before moving to Düsseldorf as city ​​director in 1991 . In 1993 he became the last senior city director of Düsseldorf until this office was abolished in 1999.

Hölz is the recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class (1999) and the "Order of the Holy Treasure on the Collar, Golden Rays" of the government of the Japanese Empire .

Peter Hölz ​​is a member of the CDU .
