Peter Hütgens (born June 26, 1891 in Mülheim an der Ruhr , † May 4, 1945 in Munich ) was a German politician .

Life

The son of a businessman attended secondary school in Mülheim and then trained as a businessman. From 1911 he worked for Wilhelmi GmbH abroad. After participating in the First World War (deployment in the east and Macedonia ), he worked again for Wilhelmi GmbH, and from 1922 on the board. From 1926 to 1930 he was self-employed; In 1930/31 he was with Wilhelmi again, this time in Mülheim.

From April 1933 he represented the NSDAP in the city council of Mülheim, from January 1934 he was district leader in Dinslaken . On May 1, 1937, he took over the post of district leader in Essen from Hermann Freytag . From June 30, 1937, he was also his successor in the National Socialist Reichstag , to which he belonged until 1945.
