Career

Peter Harrold began his career as a hockey player with the Cleveland Barons, for which he was active from 1999 to 2002 in the North American Hockey League . The defender then played for Boston College in the National Collegiate Athletic Association for four years . On April 12, 2006, the left-shooter, who had never been drafted before, received a contract with the Los Angeles Kings as a free agent , for which he made his debut in the National Hockey League in the 2006/07 season . Most of the season, however, he also spent with their farm team , the Manchester Monarchs from the American Hockey League (AHL), as in the following year. In his first full NHL season, Harrold scored twelve scorer points for the Kings in 69 games in the 2008/09 season . In August 2011, the defender was hired as a free agent by the New Jersey Devils .

After three years, Harrold moved, again as a free agent , to the St. Louis Blues . After a season that he spent exclusively with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL, his expiring contract was not extended.

At the international level, Harrold made his debut at the 2009 World Championships and came on three appearances.
