Peter III

Peter III (* before 1946 ; † 1964 ) was a Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office .

As Chief Mouser

In 1946 Chief Mouser Peter II was run over on Whitehall . As successor Peter III served under five Prime Ministers: Clement Attlee , Winston Churchill , Anthony Eden , Harold Macmillan and Alec Douglas-Home .

In 1958, Peter III became a media star after appearing on BBC's Tonight Show .

In 1964 he died of fatty liver .
