Peter Ihle

Peter Ihle (born July 5, 1937 in Düsseldorf ) is a German local politician ( CDU ). From 1994 to 2004 he was mayor of the city of Heiligenhaus .

education and profession

Ihle graduated from school with a secondary school leaving certificate and completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in 1957 . He spent his military service in Hamburg . This was followed by further training to become an accounting officer / paymaster in the Bundeswehr.

Since 1988 he has been the sole managing director of PRO-Team GmbH in Düsseldorf.

Ihle has two sons and a daughter.

Peter Ihle joined the CDU , City Association Heiligenhaus, on July 25, 1973 . In the following years he worked on the board and later became deputy chairman of the CDU city association and co-founder of the Mittelstandsvereinigung Heiligenhaus.

On September 30, 1979 he was first elected to the city council and chaired several committees. Among other things, he was also a co-founder of the partnership committee. On October 6, 1993 he became deputy mayor.

Ihle won the local elections in 1994 as a candidate for mayor of the CDU and took up the post of (honorary) mayor of the city on November 2, 1994. In the local elections on September 12, 1999, he was directly elected as the first full-time mayor of the city of Heiligenhaus; he began his new term of office on October 1, 1999. In 2004 he was followed by his party friend Jan Heinisch .
