Peter Keller (musician)
Peter Keller (* 1970 in Bielefeld ) is a German musician, guitarist and songwriter. Since 2004 he has been part of Peter Maffay's band . Keller also works as a producer for other national and international artists such as a-ha , Monrose , Laith Al-Deen and Karat .
Life
Since he was 15, Peter Keller played in various Bielefeld bands, including the hair metal band “Prite” with Oliver Weers , in 1988 in the punk rock bank “Seltaebs” with Jochen Vahle and Caverns Best as Beatles Revival Project.
In 1992, Keller went to Hamburg to study pop music and won the John Lennon Talent Award with his band "Keller". He later taught at the Hamburg School of Music . In 1999 he founded the band Wunder with Katrin Schröder , with whom Keller released two CDs in 2004 and 2006 for Warner . During this time, Keller also established the mezzanine studios.
In 2004 he met Peter Maffay. Since the album “Laut und leise” Peter Keller has been the guitarist in the Peter Maffay Band and for other projects such as Tabaluga, and he also works as a producer for national and international artists.
In 2018 he won the Echo Music Award for Best Producer of the Year nationally for the album MTV Unplugged by Peter Maffay for the first time .
