Peter Kienle

Peter Kienle (born July 23, 1960 in Metzingen ) is a German fusion and jazz musician ( guitar , also Chapman Stick , composition ) who has been working mainly in the USA since 1988.

Live and act

Kienle has been playing the guitar since he was 13. He studied two semesters at the Munich Jazz School. In 1983 he founded the band BeebleBrox in Albstadt, in which he has been working with Monika Herzig since 1986 . In 1987 and 1988 he toured southern Europe with Bill Molenhof .

In 1988 Kienle moved with Herzig to the USA, where they were able to establish themselves in the Midwest with BeebleBrox . In 1997 and 1998 they toured Germany with Peter Lehel . With his trio Third Man , the album of the same name was released in the same year. In 2002 he co-founded Kwyjibo ( The Return of Kwyibo ). His solo CD Peter's Money was released in 2009 on the Acme label . He also founded the Splinter Group and Earplane groups in the same year. His solo album Hydrogen Sonata (2016) reflects films from the science fiction genre. In 2017 he released the album The Time Flies with Monika Herzig on Jazzsick Records .

As an arranger, he published his own versions of Bach's Inventions and the Well-Tempered Clavier for 7-string guitar .
