Peter Kurz (politician, 1943)

Peter Kurz (born April 19, 1943 in Brno , Moravia ) is a German politician (formerly SPD ).

Briefly attended the secondary and secondary school in Trostberg and the high school in Traunstein , where he also graduated from high school. He studied mathematics and physics at the University of Munich , with a second degree in law. He made the 1st and 2nd state exams for teaching at grammar schools. From 1972 onwards, Kurz worked as a teacher for mathematics and physics. At the Munich College , a school of second chance education, he most recently served as director of studies. He was also a member of the Education and Science Union , GEW state chairman and member of the main board as well as a member of the DGB state district board.

In 1971, Kurz became a member of the SPD. He was state chairman of the Bavarian Young Socialists , eight years as a member of the SPD state executive committee, chairman of the SPD in the Traunstein district and in the SPD district executive committee. He was also a member of the district council in Traunstein. From 1982 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . In 1995 he left the SPD. On November 7, 1996, he replaced Max von Heckel in the state parliament until the end of the 1998 legislative period, but was now non-attached due to the previous resignation.
