Peter Lötscher (born February 4, 1941 in Basel ; † October 24, 2017 ) was a Swiss sword fencer .
Career
Peter Lötscher won the bronze medal at the World Championships with the team in Ankara in 1970 . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1968 he finished seventh in the singles in Mexico City , while he was eliminated with the team in the first round. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , he won the silver medal in the team competition with Daniel Giger , François Suchanecki , Christian Kauter and Guy Evéquoz . In the individual, he did not get beyond the quarter-finals. Lötscher won the Swiss championships twice with the sword.
