François Suchanecki (born December 23, 1949 in Basel ) is a former Swiss sword fencer .
Career
François Suchan Ecki was in 1977 in Buenos Aires and in 1981 in Clermont-Ferrand with the team runner-up , in 1979 , he won with her in Melbourne also bronze. He took part in the Olympic Games three times . In 1972 he reached the final with the Swiss team in Munich , where Hungary prevailed 8: 4. Together with Guy Evéquoz , Daniel Giger , Peter Lötscher and Christian Kauter , he received the silver medal. At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , he won another medal with bronze in the team competition. In addition to Suchanecki, the team included Jean-Blaise Evéquoz , Daniel Giger, Christian Kauter and Michel Poffet . In the individual competition, he finished 22nd. In 1984 he was ninth with the team in Los Angeles .
He fought for the fencing company in Basel .
