Michel Poffet (born August 24, 1957 ) is a former Swiss sword fencer .
Career
Michel Poffet became vice world champion with the team in Clermont-Ferrand in 1981 and in Rome in 1982 . In 1979 in Melbourne he also won bronze with her. He took part in the Olympic Games three times : at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , he won the bronze medal in the team competition. In addition to Poffet, the team included Jean-Blaise Evéquoz , François Suchanecki , Christian Kauter and Daniel Giger . In 1984 he was in Los Angeles with the team ninth and fifth in the individual. Four years later he reached fifth place with the Swiss team in Seoul . In the individual competition, he finished 15th.
