Peter Lehmann (born May 4, 1982 in Hof ) is a Bremen politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and a former member of the Bremen Parliament .

biography

Lehmann is the son of the Bavarian politician Gudrun Lehmann (The Greens).

education and profession

After attending a grammar school in Hof, the secondary school in Gefrees and the technical college in Hof, Lehmann obtained the technical college entrance qualification in 2000 and did his community service in Weckelweiler until August 2001 . He studied transport and logistics at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences . In 2006 he moved to the Jade University of Applied Sciences, Elsfleth Maritime Department , in order to complete the subject of maritime transport and port management in 2011. Lehmann wrote his thesis at the Cologne-Düsseldorf subsidiary, the ship management company KD Cruise Services Ltd. (Limassol, Cyprus) on the subject of an analysis of the adjustment options when opting for cruise ships for the German tonnage tax . Since graduating, he has been a research assistant at the German Bundestag and, at the same time, a freelance consultant in the maritime industry since 2015.

politics

Lehmann was treasurer of the Green Youth Franconia from 2000 to 2002 and state treasurer of the Green Youth Bremen from 2002 to 2003. From 2002 to 2003 he was a member of the district board of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in the Bremerhaven district association and in 2003 he was the district director of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in the Bremerhaven district association.

From June 10, 2003 to May 2007, Lehmann was a member of Bremen's citizenship. There he was port policy spokesman for his group from June 2003 to April 2005. From 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the Deputations for Environment and Energy as well as for Economy and Ports and was a member of the port committee of the citizenship. From April 2005 to June 2007 he was spokesman and chairman of his parliamentary group in the petitions committee.

Other offices

Lehmann is a member of the scientific advisory board of the Institute for Shipping and Logistics (ISL), Bremen. From 2003 to 2005 he was a member of the supervisory board of bremenports GmbH & Co KG ( port group Bremen / Bremerhaven ). Since 2016 he has been chairman of the Association for the Promotion of the Right to Petition in Democracy. V. (Petitions Association).
