Peter Müller (painter, 1935)

Peter Müller (* 18th August 1935 in Dresden , † 20th September 2017 in Berlin ) was a German painter of figurative painting .

Life

Peter Müller completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and then graduated from high school . From 1957 to 1961 he studied painting at the Berlin School of Fine Arts . From 1961 to 1977 he worked as a freelance painter and graphic artist.

Mueller was 1977 to 1980 lecturer for life drawing at the Academy of Arts in Berlin and from 1980 to 2000 professor of life drawing at the University of Arts in Berlin . Since 1989 he has been a member of the Association of Berlin Artists . His works have been exhibited since 1965.

Peter Müller lived and worked in Berlin since 1957. He was married and had three children.
