Tripp Trapp high chair

The high chair Tripp Trapp is a height-adjustable chair for children that can be adjusted depending on the size. It was launched in 1972 and by 2006 had sold over five million times. Since then it has been marketed by the Stokke company.

Balans series

The Balans series represented a new form of seating furniture that broke with conventional design. In order to maintain an ergonomic sitting position and also to enable a high degree of movement, the Balans concept, which was developed by the Norwegian ACMandal, has a forward-sloping seat, with the body supported by knee pads. In some models, the rails to which the seat and knee cushions are attached are rounded so that they can rock like a rocking chair. This is what the first Variable Balans model from 1979 looks like. Other models with backrests followed.
