biography

In 1996 Pen made his debut in the World Cup and already won his first World Cup point in his second race - the Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . This was also the first World Cup point in the Super-G of the young Slovenian men's team. As a result, Pen scored especially in the downhill, the best season was 2000/01 . Among other things, he achieved two placings in the top ten this season (6th in Val-d'Isère and 10th in Kvitfjell ) and was 25th in the overall downhill standings Peter Pen ended his career.

Pen was twice a member of the Slovenian Olympic team ( Nagano 1998 and Salt Lake City 2002 ) and took part in two Alpine World Ski Championships ( St. Anton 2001 and St. Moritz 2003 ). He achieved his best placements in the combination as 8th in Nagano and 7th in St. Anton - both times, however, with a large deficit.
