Peter Petersen (politician, 1904)

Peter Petersen (born March 20, 1904 in Arenholz ; † July 4, 1989 there ) was a German politician ( NPD ). From 1967 to 1971 he was one of the four NPD members in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life and work

Petersen attended elementary school and trained as an elementary school teacher. He was an adult education center teacher, young state federal warden in Schleswig-Holstein and federal state manager , then a teacher and then regional federal manager. Until the end of the Second World War he was district manager and advisor at the Reichsnährstand in Goslar and Berlin . He was also an agricultural councilor and served in the military . After the war he worked as a farmer, even after he was called up for school service again. Petersen was a Protestant, married and had six children.

Politics and public offices

Petersen joined the NSDAP before the Nazis came to power . Danker and Lehmann-Himmel characterize his basic orientation at that time as "exposed / National Socialist". From 1959 to 1965 Petersen was a member of the DG / GDP and chairman of the Federal Agriculture Committee. In 1965 he became a member of the NPD. He was a community representative, head of the Rubek Water and Soil Association and responsible for agricultural and socio-political publications in daily newspapers. From 1967 to 1971 he sat in the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein.
