Peter Schaeffers

Peter Schaeffers (* 1911 ; † 1970 ) was a German hit writer , librettist , director , film producer and publisher .

Act

Schaeffers was the son of cabaret artist Willi Schaeffers .

Together with Günther Schwenn , he directed several musical short films by Fritz Grünbaum , Peter Morgan , Senta Söneland and the Comedian Harmonists . In the following years he and Schwenn wrote many texts for film scores and hits. For publication he founded the Peter Schaeffers Music Publishing House . After the end of World War II he worked as a manager and produced films among others Freddy Quinn .
