Peter Scheibner (cyclist)
Peter Scheibner (* 1959 ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .
Athletic career
Scheibner, who started for SC Karl-Marx-Stadt , won the 1980 GDR championship in the team time trial on the road. He was at the start of the GDR tour seven times and achieved his best result with 13th place in 1982 . From 1979 he had several assignments in the national team of the GDR including the Baltic Tour , the Poland Tour , the Tour de Bohemia , the Tour of Slovakia and the Tour of Yugoslavia . At the Landes-Rundfahrten, 9th place in 1982 in the Tour of Poland was his best result. In 1982 he won the stage for the Mescek Cup in Hungary .
