Peter Stassen

Peter Stassen (born September 8, 1978 ) is a Belgian musical performer .

Life

Born in Belgium, he completed his training at the art high school in Antwerp and at the Brabants Conservatory in Tilburg in the Netherlands in 2002 . He stood there u. a. in the title role in the musical Louis De Bourbon and in The Three Musketeers (musical) as Swing, Cardinal Richelieu and James on stage. In Belgium, the audience nominated him for the leading role of Prince in The Little Mermaid for the Musical Award.

He made his debut in Germany at the Apollo Theater Stuttgart in Tanz der Vampire a . a. as Professor Abronsius and Koukol, in the same theater he played a. a. also Franz Josef in Elisabeth , a role he played in the first occupation in Füssen. Further engagements followed also in Stuttgart in 3 Musketeers as the first line-up King Ludwig XIII and Cardinal Richelieu before he moved to Berlin, where he again a. a. Portrayed Franz Josef and Max of Bavaria in Elisabeth .

In addition to his musical engagements, he accompanied Sarah Brightman as a background singer in Rotterdam .

Since the premiere of the musical Tarzan in 2008, Stassen can be seen as Walk in Cover in the Neue Flora in Hamburg. He embodies the roles of Kerchak, Porter and Clayton and also played them in Stuttgart.

At the end of 2012, Stassen and Jörg Borrmann founded the artist agency ARTrechte in Hamburg. Stassen speaks Dutch, Flemish, German, English and French. His wife Melanie Ortner-Stassen is also a musical performer .
