Peter Thomas (director)
Peter Thomas (* 1929 ; † January 29, 1987 in Gran Canaria ) was a German director and general manager .
Life
Peter Thomas originally came from Hamburg and began his career as an actor at the Thalia Theater . He then moved to Lübeck . In the early 1950s he went to RIAS as a director in West Berlin , where he was game director until 1957.
From 1958 to 1960 Thomas worked as an actor at the Theater am Dom in Cologne. From Cologne he moved to the Kammerspiele Düsseldorf , where he had been the sole director and artistic director since the 1971/72 season.
