Peter Winter (born April 2, 1954 in Waldaschaff ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ). From 2003 to 2018 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

Winter attended the Waldaschaff secondary school from 1960 to 1968. He then did an apprenticeship as a heating and ventilation engineer from 1968 to 1971 . 1979 to 1983 he studied at the Academy of Crafts. Today he works as a member of the state parliament. Winter is a Roman Catholic, married and has three children.

politics

Winter has been a member of the CSU since 1973. From March 1984 to October 2003, when he moved to the state parliament, he was the full-time 1st mayor of the Waldaschaff community. Since May 1996, Winter was the deputy district administrator of the Aschaffenburg district . Since 1978 he has been a member of the CSU local association Waldaschaff and has been a member of the Aschaffenburg district committee of the CSU since 1988. He is now the district chairman there. In addition, he is a board member of the CSU district councilor. Within the state parliament, to which he has been a member since October 6, 2003, Winter was chairman of the budget committee from 2013 to 2018. From 2008 to 2018 he was the directly elected representative of the Aschaffenburg-Ost constituency . After the state elections in 2018 , he left the state parliament.

Other offices

Winter is president of the Bavarian brass band and the brass band Vorspessart, honorary chairman of the supervisory board of the Raiffeisenbank Waldaschaff-Heigenbrücken and honorary chairman of the volunteer fire brigade Waldaschaff.
