Peters Bastion is a 1250 m high, massive and largely ice-free mountain in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the northernmost elevation of the Eland Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after Vernon William Peters (1934–1979), commanding officer of the United States Navy's VXE-6 squadron in Operation Deep Freeze in 1974.
