Petr Štěpánek (born October 2, 1948 in Prague ) is a Czech actor .
Life
Petr Štěpánek comes from a Czech family of artists. His father was the actor Zdeněk Štěpánek . He is the great-grandson of the playwright Jan Nepomuk Štěpánek . His sister was the actress Jana Štěpánková . His brother Martin was also an actor and his sister Kristina Taberyová is a theater director. His schoolmate was today's actor Jaromír Hanzlík .
From 1966 to 1970, Štěpánek successfully studied acting at the theater faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague . During this time he was employed at the Divadlo Na zábradlí . After graduating, he became a permanent member of the Národní divadlo ensemble .
Štěpánek made his film debut in 1966 in a small supporting role in the war comedy Každý mladý muž, directed by Pavel Juráček . Since then he has appeared in over 130 film and television productions. He starred in films such as The Day that Changed the World , The High School Student Day and The Crown Prince . In recent years he has become a well-known series actor. Since 2008 he has played the doctor Dr. Eduard Valsík in Ordinace v růžové zahradě 2 . In the comedy series Ohnivý kuře he played Karel Trébl in 75 episodes.
Štěpánek was married to the actress Regina Rázlová for the first time . His second wife, the director Vlasta Janečková , died in 2012. In his third marriage, he is married to the actress Zlata Adamovská , with whom he has often been in front of the camera.
