Petra Dettenhöfer (born July 4, 1957 in Schlammersdorf ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

education and profession

From 1963 to 1970 Dettenhöfer attended elementary school in Schlammersdorf before she attended business school in Eschenbach in the Upper Palatinate until 1973 . She then trained as a bank clerk , which she completed in 1976.

She worked as a bank clerk until the birth of her first child in 1987. From then on, Petra Dettenhöfer devoted herself to the family and volunteer work until she moved into the state parliament in 2008.

Political party

In 1981 she joined the CSU and the JU . In the following years up to 1989 she held the office as deputy JU local chairwoman. From 1986 to 1990 she was deputy JU district chairwoman. She has also been a member of the CSA district board since 1989 . From 1991 to 1998 she was deputy CSU local chairwoman. Since 1989 she has been a member of the CSU district board. Since 1999 she has also been deputy CSU district chairwoman. From 1993 to 1999 she was district chairwoman of the FU and from 1995 to 2005 deputy district chairwoman of the FU . Since 1995 Dettenhöfer has been a district board member of the CSU Upper Palatinate .

From 1994 to 2003 she was parliamentary group manager of the CSU district parliamentary group. From 1998 to 2003 she held the position of deputy chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the district assembly, before taking over the office of chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the Upper Palatinate district assembly in 2003.
