Petra Heiduk

Petra Heiduk (born January 7, 1943 in Erfurt ) is a German dancer , dance sport trainer and choreographer in the field of formation dance sport (Latin). Petra Heiduk was the owner of a dance school in Aachen for a long time .

career

After Petra Heiduk had completed her first dance courses in 1951, she began successfully participating in numerous dance tournaments from 1961. In the standard dances and Latin dances , she was both multi-city champion in Dusseldorf , as well as National Champion of North Rhine-Westphalia and German Vice Champion. In addition, she took numerous top places at European and World Championships as well as at World Cup events. In 1976 she switched to the professionals and ended her active career in 1979.

From 1973 to 1974 Heiduk completed an apprenticeship as a state-certified dance instructor at the Sport University in Cologne and in 1976 also trained as a dance instructor at ADTV . A year later she opened a dance school both in Velbert and in Wesel. Finally, Heiduk took over the Latin formations of TSC Schwarz-Gelb Aachen from 1985 to 2000 . With the A-team of the TSC Schwarz-Gelb Aachen, she moved to the newly founded Tanzsportzentrum Aachen in 2002 , before she was head coach of TSG Lüdenscheid from summer 2004 to 2009 . In addition, she trained a selection formation in Vienna from 1999 to 2005 and repeatedly took on engagements at home and abroad.

In her capacity as an individual and formation trainer as well as a choreographer, Heiduk can also look back on numerous successes. After initial top positions at European and World Championships as well as in the Bundesliga with Grün-Weiß Gelsenkirchen and the Tanzsportzentrum Velbert, she was able to achieve the following titles with the TSC Schwarz-Gelb-Aachen:

  • World champion 1992, 1996, 1997, 1998
  • European Champion 1993, 1997
  • German champion 1991, 1995, 1996, 1998
  • as well as vice world champion 2003 with the dance sport center Aachen

The formation she trained in Vienna was three times national champion and was a multiple finalist at European and world championships.
