Petunia saxicola is a plant type from the genus Petunia ( Petunia ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Petunia saxicola is an herbaceous plant with upright to prostrate stems and upright branches. The plant is only sparsely hairy. The leaves have 1 cm long petioles , the leaf blades are elliptical, slightly pointed at the base and almost pointed towards the front. They are up to 35 mm long and 16 mm wide, are almost membranous and almost hairless.
The flowers stand on flexible, 5 cm long pedicels that do not bend back after flowering. The calyx is 15 cm long, divided almost to the base into linear, slightly spaced tips with rounded tips. The crown is colored red, the corolla tube is narrow, inversely conical, 45 mm long and measures 12 mm in diameter. The corolla lobes are broadly rounded and 10 mm long. The stamens are short and do not protrude beyond the crown. The scar is hemispherical.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 14.
