Rectory in Fridolfing

The rectory in Fridolfing , a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein , was built in the 15th century. The former rectory at Hadrianstrasse 28, south of the Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary , is a protected architectural monument .

history

The three-storey late Gothic building with a crooked hipped roof was erected in two phases from 1484 to 1493, according to two inscription panels. During the baroque period , the facade was renewed and various ceilings were stuccoed . Around 1849 the roof construction was changed and the crested hip was redesigned. The ceiling painting in what is now the mayor's room was probably created during this time. After the building was bought by the municipality of Fridolfing in 1993, the late Gothic ocher-colored ashlar painting was reconstructed based on findings. Inside, the existing historical furnishings such as doors, floor coverings and ceilings have been preserved.

The former rectory has been used as the town hall since 1998 .
