Rectory (Sindelsdorf)
The Catholic rectory in Sindelsdorf , a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau , was built in 1807/08. The rectory at Kirchsteinstrasse 1 is a protected architectural monument .
The broad, two-storey plastered building with a steep hipped roof was built on the foundation walls of the former church of St. Maria, which lost its status as a parish church in the course of secularization in 1805 : the "lower" Sindelsdorf parish of St. Maria was dissolved and the "upper" parish of St. Georg , who had the Marienkirche converted into the current building. The building used today as a residential building has three to five window axes .
Parts of the former cemetery wall made of tuff stone blocks from the 17th / 18th centuries Century peace the property.
