Parish church hl. Georg in Allhaming.

The parish church of Allhaming is located in the municipality of Allhaming in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Georg - incorporated into Kremsmünster Abbey - belongs to the Kremsmünster Dean's Office in the Linz diocese . The church and the former cemetery are under monument protection .

history

A church was mentioned in a document in 1277. The current church was built in 1488.

architecture

The single nave nave has four bays, the west bay is new, the others are vaulted with gothic reticulated ribs and show a six-part diamond star. The retracted three-bay choir has a 3/6 end, the net ribs were chipped off and now appear painted. The west tower has a new eight-sided pointed helmet.

Furnishing

The decor is neo-Gothic. There is a Gothic panel painting depicting St. Wendelin from the beginning of the 16th century in Kremsmünster.
