Parish church Dobersdorf
The Roman Catholic parish church Dobersdorf in the center of Dobersdorf in the municipality of Rudersdorf (Burgenland) ( Hungarian : Radafalva ) in the Jennersdorf district in Burgenland is dedicated to the feast of the Visitation of Mary and belongs to the Jennersdorf dean's office .
history
The original branch church of the Königsdorf parish was raised to an independent parish in 1949. A small chapel was built as early as 1771. The current church was built in 1830, according to the inscription above the portal. It was renovated in 1954, 1977 (exterior renovation) and in the 1990s. The last renovation was completed in 2008 with the redesign of the sanctuary.
Architecture and equipment
The church is a single-nave building with an equally wide and semicircular apse . The south tower presented is three-story and has an elongated onion helmet.
The nave has two bays with a square vaulted square , which is supported on pilasters between double belt arches .
The three-axis gallery is decorated with square vaults below and has a curved parapet.
There is a cap vault over the apse.
The high altar consecrated to the Visitation of Mary and the St. The side altar, consecrated to Donatus , was built in the second quarter of the 19th century in the "belated baroque" style.
The pulpit from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century is baroque. There is a relief of the Nativity on the basket . On the sound cover a group of figures shows Mary with the baby Jesus and the three wise men .
The 14 Stations of the Cross are oil paintings by A. Schweitzer from 1862.
