history

The parish was founded in the Middle Ages. A church is mentioned for the first time in 1418. It probably stood on the cemetery hill in Luising . In 1656 the church in Hagensdorf becomes part of the Heiligenbrunn parish . The current building was partly built in 1788 from the material of the old church and raised again to the status of a parish. In 1878, ninety years later, it was enlarged.

Architecture and equipment

The interior of the church

The classicist building has a three-storey, front-built north tower with a pointed helmet. The choir has moved in and has a 3/8 end.

The church is a single-nave, three-bay room. A square vault is stretched between the double belts , which rest on double pilasters . The choir yoke is also located under a square vault. Above the apse , which is separated from the nave by a round-arched triumphal arch, there is a cap vault. On the apse wall there is a modern painting with figures of Saints Peter and Paul as well as Cosmas and Damian to the left and right . The figures were created at the end of the 18th century, but have since been changed. The simple pulpit dates from the construction period. The organ was built at the end of the 18th century.
